Tournaments!
The 2018 and 2019 years brought a few tournaments to the online group of Magi-Nation fans still playing the game! Games were played using the Lackey system, and coordinated through Discord, Facebook, and Reddit.

In the fall of 2018, the community hosted a second Storyline Tournament: Desperate Journeys
16 players competed to affect the fan written story! After a top 4, Joker was the winner, with Orothe! The fan based story took a new direction, with Yaki and Sorreah investigating the glowing iceberg! You can read more about it here: http://changevoyage.blogspot.com/2019/04/magi-nation-fan-run-storyline_29.html
- Summer 2019 brought a few of tournaments! The early summer brought a 7th community tournament - the Summer 19 Tournament. The format was 'General', allowing all printed MND cards and Traitor's Reach on Lackey. There were 9 players in the event, with ZucriyAmsuna claiming victory, with The Core. You can find some of the decklists and discussion of strategy here! Here's the swiss brackets and standings.
- The second Summer tournament of 2019 was chosen to be a commons/uncommons only tournament (no rares, Daybreak, promos, or unreleased promos). We're calling the format "Plebeian" for the time being. There were eight participants, with Aerilias being the winner, with an undefeated record with Paradwyn!
We're looking forward to more events this year, and hope you'll learn Lackey and join us for online play! The community is starting regular events as weekly/monthly game days, so you can come and learn to play on Lackey, see some of the new cards, and even spectate games!

- The community recently managed to find all the old files for the game: Magi-Nation: Keeper's Quest for mobile phones from the early 2000s! It's playable with an emulator, and all the files can be found on this drive. You can install on windows and read the 'read me' to play. There's some bugs, but it works!
- The community also found a copy of the Japanese CCG's rulebook.
- The original composer for the Magi-Nation Game Boy Color game has been remixing the songs, and they're starting to be posted on Youtube! Check out these musical compositions!
